It is a great privilege and honor for me to permanently join the fine staff of this great school district. With a career approaching 34 years in a variety of educational roles and responsibilities, 18 as the superintendent in 2 different rural schools in Texas (Comanche and Ira), I look forward to finding ways to participate in the success of the students of this fine district. The formula for student success has always been the result of the compounding effect that occurs when all stakeholders of a district work together in the best interests of students—Aristotle said it best, “the whole is greater than the sum of all its parts” and I am eager to become a factor in that magnificent equation. I urge each of you to find your place in that equation too! Please don’t hesitate to contact me or other members of the staff to find ways you may participate in this noble, worthwhile… and absolutely critical endeavor. This community, state and nation is dependent upon it!
