Classroom Rules

  • 1Be prepared for class:  You must show up for class everyday with the following items:  Your textbook, pocket folder with looseleaf paper, a pen or pencil to write with, and your library book.

  • Be on time:  Three tardies and you will be given a discipline notice.

  • No unnecessary talking or moving about:  No unnecessary talking or moving about (ex. Throwing paper away, sharpening your pencil, getting a Kleenex) while the teacher is in front of the class.  Emergencies are the only exception.

  • Be considerate of others:  Treat other classmates as you would like to be treated.  I will not tolerate behavior from students designed to belittle or demean other students.

  • Do not argue with the teacher :  Do not argue with the teacher when you are told to stop doing something.  If you feel you need to explain why you were doing something you may see the teacher after class is over.

  • Complete all assignments on time:  Complete all work assigned by the teacher in class in a timely manner.

Failure to follow the class rules will result in assigned discipline work.  If you are consistently not following the rules you will be given a discipline notice and sent to the office.
