State U.I.L. Solo and Ensemble Competition James White advanced with a trumpet solo and scored a division 3 rating at state. Deborah Cannon advanced to Austin with a saxophone solo and brought home a division 2 rating. Alex Austin advanced in piano and came home with the gold with a division 1 rating at state! |

Regional UIL Academics The Computer Science Team, consisting of Jamie, Lee, Devin, and Jeremy won first place and will compete at state. Jamie won first place in Computer Science, first place in Science (including first in Physics), and third place in Mathematics. He will compete in all three events at state. Geneva won second place in the Lincoln-Douglas Debate. She will compete at state. Carol won sixth place in Headline Writing. She was selected as an alternate for the state met. Also competing in Brenham were James, Alex, Michael, and Christina. |
